The year-round, 2,000 square foot Academy offering premiere golf lessons in Michigan features three heated, indoor-outdoor hitting bays equipped with mirrors and motion-capture technology for swing analysis.

Director of Instruction

Director of Instruction and Head Golf Pro, Scott Hebert, is a six-time Michigan Open Champion and five-time Michigan PGA Player of the Year. Scott has won the Michigan PGA Championship four times, was the key player for the winning USA Team in the 2009 PGA Cup and won the 2008 PGA Professional National Championship.

NEW Foresight Sports GC2-Powered Golf Simulation


Grand Traverse Golf Academy is excited to announce the addition of the GC2 Smart Camera Technology and Golf Performance Simulator by Foresight Sports. The GC2 Smart Camera System collects real-time ball-flight and club head analysis with precision accuracy and consistency, delivering a full range of performance.

The golf simulator is available during normal hours and is open to Resort members, guests and the public.

Additional details:

  • Pricing for the simulator is $40/hr
  • Walk-ins are accepted, however, advance reservations are recommended by calling 231-534-6550
  • Data collected by the GC2 System can be used for custom club fittings
