Welcome to the 2nd Annual Cherry Capital Winter WonderFest., Traverse City's newest festival!
The four days of Presidents Day Weekend, February 15-18, 2008 will be the second time around for this exciting new festival, created as a community-wide, family-friendly celebration of the fun and excitement of winter in Northern Michigan.
Whether you enjoy outdoor activities with wintry frost nipping at your nose, or indoor activities that warm the body and soul, we have something sure to please you and your loved ones.
In addition to the National Cherry Festival and Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, this year the festival welcomes the Traverse City Convention & Visitors Bureau, as well as the Downtown Traverse City Association as new partners.
Access to the festival requires the purchase of $10 button (kids 10 & under, free).
A portion of the proceeds from every button sold will be donated to the good work of Special Olympics Michigan. There's a complete roster of sites listed below where you can purchase your buttons in advance. Buttons will also be availble for sale on a "walk-up" basis each day of the festival (cash only, please).
