Our themes can take you anywhere
As the only in-house Destination Management Department in Northern Michigan we can book excursions, plan off-property events and tours, and even arrange transportation. But we're more than just big picture thinkers. We can also help you theme an event right down to the unique menu, specialty linens, floral centerpieces and entertainment. We'll take care of the details so your group can just focus on having fun. Here are a few themes just to get you thinking. But remember, the sky's the limit.

• Native American Theme - Experience the beauty and diversity of Native American culture through distinctive music, décor and dinner menu reflective to the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians.
• Welcome to Cherry Country - From Cherry pies and desserts to Cherry Barbeque, we'll make your event uniquely Michigan. In our backyard you'll even find a cherry orchard that's ready for picking.
• Murder Mystery - Whodunit? Put your group to work to find the clues. All the while, feasting on a fine five-course meal
• Desert Island - We'll start by "stranding" you on The Shores Deck. Then you'll need to watch out for the pirates, and don't steal their treasure. This fun, casual event ends with a Lobster Boil and mouthwatering dessert.

• The Cub House - Open every day, our licensed day care facility, The Cub House, is for kids between 3 months and 8 years. They‘ll enjoy our fenced-in playground along with planned activities that are both educational and fun. Plus, our staff has been trained in Adult and Infant CPR and have had FIA background checks as well as certification with the American Red Cross.
• Camp Traverse - This year Camp Traverse offers 10 fabulous weeks of adventures and educational activities. Each week your child will enjoy a variety of sports, crafts, themes a field trip on Thursdays, group skits, and a summer full of lasting memories.
