Grand Traverse Resort & Spa's Group Sales Staff is composed of professionals who are dedicated to providing the finest for Corporation, Association, and SMERF meetings.  Several of our National Sales Managers are members of Meeting Professionals International, the Society of Association Executives, Financial and Insurance Conference Planners, and other professional organizations.

Colleen Brzozowski is the Resort’s Director of Sales.   She is responsible for overseeing all facets of the group sales team including revenue management, travel, trade shows and budgeting. She also handles various key accounts for the resort and the Insurance and Financial Services market.

Colleen has been with Grand Traverse Resort & Spa since November of 2001 when she began as an Executive Meeting Manager. Eight months later, she was promoted to the National Sales Manager position.  Here she focused on the Southwest Michigan territory (269/616 area codes) as well as clients in the Corporate, Association, Government and SMERF markets in the Midwest and West including Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

Colleen joined the hospitality industry in 1993 and previously held the positions of Director of Sales at Holiday Inn Airport in Kalamazoo, MI and Sales Manager at The Lodge at Yarrow in Augusta, MI.   She is a member of Meeting Professionals International – Chicago Area Chapter and FICP (Financial and Insurance Conference Planners Association).

Lisa Monache is a National Sales Manager who works with the state and federal government market for all of Michigan, as well as the association, education, and reunion markets within Michigan's (947), (248), (313), (586), (810) and (906) area codes. On a national level, Lisa handles corporate, association, government, education and reunion markets primarily on the West Coast; including California, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon.

Lisa joined Grand Traverse Resort & Spa’s Sales Team in September of 2003. Formerly with Shanty Creek Resort for nine years, she began her Conference Sales career with Sugar Loaf Resort, was Director of Sales at the Holiday Inn of Traverse City, as well as Director of Sales with the jointly owned Holiday Inn and Ramada Inn of Marquette. Lisa brings many years of Conference Sales experience to Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.

  Debra (Duke) Taylor is a National Sales Manager responsible for all State Associations, National Associations, Corporations, and Social, Military, Education, Religious, and Fraternal (SMERF) groups in the 517 area code.  Deb, who was an integral part of the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa sales team in the 1980s and 1990s, rejoined the Resort in January 2007 after 9 years raising a family and pursuing other interests.  She is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in conference sales and overall 30 years working in the hospitality industry.

  Taryn Miracle is a National Sales Manager.   Dawn Roberts is a National Sales Manager responsible for Corporations, State and National Associations, and Government accounts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, Ohio, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and Canada as well as Corporate, State and National Associations, and SMERF in Michigan 989 area code and 586 area codes. 

She relocated from Florida in January 2008 to join the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa sales team.  Dawn has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and has held both sales and service positions with a variety of companies including car rental and attraction, and she has eight years previous experience with both Holiday Inn and Radisson brands.

  Greg Zenn is a National Sales Manager responsible for all Michigan Corporations in the 248, 734, 313 and 810 area codes.  On a national level he works with Corporate, National Associations, SMERF and Government accounts for New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Colombia.

Greg has a broad spectrum of sales backgrounds including pharmaceutical, automotive and industrial sectors.  He joined the Resort in December of 2007.

Duke Rosendahl, CMP is an Executive Meeting Manager who specializes in meetings for groups that require 20 sleeping rooms or less per night, and 60 or less total room nights.   His commitment to professional excellence and experience within Grand Traverse Resort & Spa ensure that all aspects of your meeting are seamless.  From Executive Board Retreats to Strategic Planning Sessions and Corporate Training, he will help you plan your event from start to finish.  Duke also handles State Associations, Corporations and Social, Military, Education, Religious and Fraternal (SMERF) groups in the 231 area code as well as Special Olympics Michigan.

Duke has been in hotel/resort management since 1998, and is an Audio-Visual Director turned Conference Sales Manager.  He relocated from the Cleveland market and has been with Grand Traverse Resort & Spa since 2003.

Jodi Lautner is an Executive Meeting Manager.  She was promoted to that position in February of 2007 after working as Sales Associate and the Sales Department NewMarket Systems Analyst since 2003.  Executive Meeting Managers at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa specialize in meetings for groups that require 20 sleeping rooms or less per night and 60 or less total room nights.

Kris Ruckle is a Golf & Spa Sales Manager who has been in Sales since 1998 at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. She is responsible for meeting the group golf and spa needs of each conference group, along with securing group golf and spa revenue for the local community organizations and social groups.

Kris has had the opportunity to work as an Executive Host at our sister properties Turtle Creek and Leelanau Sands Casinos. She has been in the golf industry since 1990 working in Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina, and in the Traverse City area.

Camille Johnston is a Golf & Spa Sales Manager who handles groups of 12 or more specifically looking for golf and/or spa packages including lodging. Camille joined the Resort’s Reservation Department in May 2004 and became part of the Sales Team in March 2005.
