Our wedding was more perfect than we ever could have imagined it would be.   The Resort's Special Events Manager made sure that everything went smoothly by seeing to every detail, many of which we never would have even thought of until it was too late.  The staff were all helpful and very polite.  It was extremely convenient to have everything we needed at one place. 

Our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception were all in close proximity, making it convenient for our wedding party, family and guests.  Additionally, the spa provided the wedding party with a place to get their hair, nails and make-up done without having to leave the resort.  Finally, the golf course provided the groomsmen with a fun activity to start their morning and enjoy the day until the ceremony. 

The resort staff took care of every aspect of our wedding day for us, which allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our day, completely stress-free.  We would recommend a wedding at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa to everyone.

We couldn't believe how wonderful and helpful the staff was from the initial planning to the actual reception. The Resort's Special Events Manager had all the resources to help us with last minute details, like finding a replacement for our minister who was MIA the week of the wedding, as well as sewing my wedding dress during the reception when a guest stepped on my bustle! She was like J-Lo in the Wedding Planner and always willing to help make the event exactly what we wanted.

It was an amazing weekend from golf to the spa, and of course, our wedding. The convenience of having our wedding and ceremony at one location was convenient for our out-of-town guests, as well as the bridal party. No worries about transportation or people getting lost, everything worked out smoothly and was quite memorable for all who attended.

Our wedding reception at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa was everything we had imagined. We were fortunate to have a beautiful day and evening for our celebration under the Pavilion. My standards are very high as were my expectations for this reception. I was so happy from start to finish. The party went like clockwork, the staff was on point at all times and so friendly! The food was outstanding. Guests raved about everything.

The Resort's Special Events Manager was a gem to work with! This was a destination wedding event. We traveled to Traverse City only a few times to make arrangements. I was confident in her ability to handle it all and she and the staff did. I was able to thoroughly enjoy myself and stay in the moment with our special day. I have an event planning background and I was able to trust all the details (even the last minute changes and smallest details) with her and the staff. I know it was a great party, but when your guests still talk about it when they see you, that is the best compliment ever.

Memorable describes our Wedding at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa! The Resort was a perfect choice for our Wedding and the experienced and knowledgeable staff provided exceptional customer service, which added to the overall success of our Wedding!

We utilized every area of the Resort. Our outdoor Ceremony was held on the beautiful 55th Hole, which had an amazing view. Our dinner in the 16th Floor Restaurant provided an elegant atmosphere and the food was excellent.

Our Reception in the Old Mission Suite provided an intimate and relaxing setting for our guests. The Spa provided services for Hair/Makeup/Manicures/Pedicures. The Condos and Tower rooms were very comfortable. The Bakery designed our Wedding Cake, which was delicious. Transportation arrangements for our group to tour the Traverse City area were well organized and fun.

The Resort golf courses were among the best and in great shape for fall golfing. We were truly impressed with all of our arrangements. The Wedding Coordinator ensured that each and every detail was taken care of. Every area provided the kind of customer service you would expect when planning an important event. We cannot say enough about this great Resort and would recommend it to everyone that is looking to plan their Wedding.

To anyone thinking of getting married at Grand Traverse Resort & Spa, 

Every detail remains clear in my mind.  From the long, flower-lined walk to the tent, to the sunset on the beach, it was the perfect night.  Our ceremony took place under the huge tent where we overlooked the golf course and bay.  Our reception was in the ballroom and we ate on risers so we could see our guests.  We returned to the tent for drinks and dancing but the highlight was the after party on the beach with s'mores and fireworks. 

Their Special Events Manager/Wedding Coordinator made this event easy and enjoyable, even with us being from out of town.  She handled every detail, down to the flowers on the cake so that we could enjoy every minute.  I cannot imagine a more perfect place to get married and looking through our wedding album with the beautiful golf course and bay background in every picture only reinforces that we choose the perfect spot to begin our life together.

Our wedding day was the most memorable experience that we will carry with us forever. We were very impressed with Grand Traverse Resort & Spa right from the start! From the staff to the accommodations, we couldn’t have picked a better place for our wedding. The vendors that were recommended by the resort were nothing but the best. The spa gave us our own private area where we could get our hair, make-up and nails done without leaving the resort. We had beautiful weather and everything went as planned. The food selection was outstanding and everything tasted amazing.

Our entire wedding weekend was right out of a fairy tale. The resort and wedding coordinator took care of everything, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our wedding weekend, especially our wedding day.
