Grand Traverse Resort & Spa has the only in-house Destination Management department in Northern Michigan. Our Coordinator's knowledge of the Traverse City area gives you the expertise and resources to provide just what you're looking for to create successful programs. Traverse City Sunset
A bonfire at a beach barbeque while the sun sets over the bay will create an awe-inspiring event for your guests. Royal blue, orange, red and yellow linens will complement your venue with brilliantly colored Gerberas as your centerpieces. Enjoy your favorite folk music, sit back, and relax while we take care of the rest.

Viva Italia
Italy is known for friends and families savoring delicious meals together.  Your guests will want to linger over lunch or dinner, and enjoy the authentic Italian music played on mandolin and guitar.  Chianti bottle centerpieces with dripping candles set on red checked linens, arbors with clusters of grapes, and wine barrels will create the perfect setting.   Or Go Green and use an herb garden for your centerpieces and give them away later as door prizes.

South of the Border Fiesta
Mexican food and fun is just around the corner when you throw a South of the Border Fiesta.  Sun-kissed orange, mimosa, apple red, and hunter green linens with small cacti in terra cotta pots with chili peppers scattered around the table will definitely set the mood you are looking for.  And with Salsa music in the background and a Margarita Bar, your guests may even enjoy some dancing as the evening goes on.

Excursions & Tours
To ensure your attendees enjoy a sampling of Northern Michigan's finest, allow us to customize a tour to accommodate your group's size and interests.  With Grand Traverse Resort & Spa located in one of the most beautiful and diverse corners of Northern Michigan, we can create just the right spouse programs and excursions. Transportation
If your VIPs arrive before you, we can meet and greet them, as well as arrange for departure notices to be delivered to your participants' rooms on their last evening with us.  Our Destination Management Coordinator works with several area providers to offer a comprehensive line of executive vehicles, shuttles, and buses.
