Welcome to The Den, Traverse City’s entertainment hub located inside Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. From axe throwing to arcade games, we have everything you need to get your game on.

Our Precautions
A safe environment is our top priority for our guests. Hand sanitizer is conveniently placed around the gaming floor. Plexi-glass and dividers have been installed in close contact areas. Staff members use disinfecting wipes regularly on arcade games and after the equipment is used for axe throwing, bowling, and in the escape room. Masks are also required. Come on in and experience good, clean fun!

Escape Room
Enter a multi-chamber escape room in the Egyptian desert. Do your best to solve challenging riddles and puzzles before time runs out! Fun and exciting, uncover the way out before the Pharaoh takes his revenge!

Axe Throwing
Bring your A game to our axe throwing lanes, the first axe range in Traverse City! A trained pro will show you the basics of the sport and get you set up for a friendly competition or a solo game. Choose from a traditional bullseye game, a dartboard, tic-tac-toe, and more. Axe throwing is available for ages 18 and up.

Boutique Bowling
Smaller lanes mean big fun! Our boutique bowling lanes are shorter than traditional lanes and use smaller pins and bowling balls. Great for all ages and skill levels, The Den's bowling experience offers four lanes and hours of exciting play. (And you get to wear your own shoes!)

Arcade
Play your favorites and the latest video games. Our arcade is packed with games to wow, challenge and play for hours. Load up your game card with credits to try them all!

Virtual Reality
Jump into a new world! Experience cutting edge virtual reality. Whether it's a whole new experience or you're an experienced gamer, our VR will provide you with heart pounding games and adventures. You can play the hugely popular Beat Saber as you wield your glowing sabers to the beat. You can also experience high-tech, motion, VR experiences giving you the thrill of a roller coaster, the wonder of a deep-sea adventure and more. We have many amazing experiences for up to two players. VR games are available for ages 10 and up.

The Den Bar
Located inside the game center, enjoy pub food like truffle fries, wonton fried pickles, and coney sliders, along with a full drink menu.

Plan Your Perfect Party
Plan the perfect birthday party, reunion, or other special event. Or rent out The Den for unlimited play for up to 20 people for 3 hours includes axe throwing, escape room, virtual reality, and arcade games.
