Welcome to the 2018 Women Writers Weekend!
Grand Traverse Resort and Spa and Traverse City Tourism are thrilled to present the 2018 Women Writers Weekend in Traverse City, MI, from October 19-21. With leaves ablaze in their autumn colors and fall harvests ready for sampling, there's no better place to find inspiration and relaxation than Northern Michigan.
The Women Writers Weekend brings together top travel writers and bloggers from across the Midwest to experience the charm of Traverse City and the hospitality of the Resort. Speakers will be joining at meal times to talk about trends and best practices of the writing industry, and networking opportunities will abound throughout the weekend.

Friday, October 19
Early Arrival Guests
Enjoy a complimentary bike rental, courtesy of Traverse City Tourism, and explore the Traverse City Area Recreation (TART) Trail. View trail maps here to prepare for your DIY color tour!

4:30 p.m. Welcome reception
4:45 p.m. Resort overview presentation: Jillian Manning
5:00 p.m. Traverse City overview presentation: Jenny Jenness
5:20 p.m. Shuttle departs for wine tasting and dinner
6:00 p.m. Wine tour, tasting, and dinner at Chateau Chantal, hosted by Traverse City Tourism
9:30 p.m. Return to Grand Traverse Resort and Spa
SATURDAY, October 20
