Michigan Runner Girl Running Weekend
May 4-7, 2017
Running, rest, relaxation and rejuvenation -- this is what you'll experience when you join us for our second Michigan Runner Girl - Grand Traverse Resort and Spa Running Weekend on May 4-7, 2017.
Held in beautiful northern Michigan, at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme, near Traverse City, your all-inclusive weekend includes time to connect on the road and trail with fellow Michigan Runner Girls, as well as delicious (and healthy) food, locally-crafted drinks, inspiring speakers, Old Mission Peninsula wine tour, and ample downtime (various spa options, bonfires and quiet time to simply sit back and share in a low-key and comfortable setting.)
Heather Durocher, founder of MichiganRunnerGirl.com, and Pam Carrigan, a certified personal trainer and runner, are your hosts for the weekend. The event is capped at 36, so be sure to sign up sooner rather than later. Grab a group of friends, come with your best running friend, or join us solo -- you're sure to make amazing new friends and come away with new running partners, we're sure of it! We are looking forward to meeting everyone and spending some quality, healthy time together!
Luke Humphrey, Owner, Head Coach Hansons Running
Luke Humphrey elite runner, coach, and author of Hansons Marathon and Half Marathon Method books will be joining us Saturday at lunch to talk all things running.

Priscilla Hansma, Owner SheActive Boutique

Jennifer Cutler, Owner Pure Pilates
Jennifer is a Certified STOTT PILATES® Pilates instructor, teaching since 2000. She is trained in mat, reformer, cadillac, and stability chair. Jennifer is also a certified personal trainer through AFAA and will lead us through a Pilates class on Sunday morning.
Michael and Libby Robold, co-directors of Yoga for Health Education in Traverse City
Michael and Libby Robold will teach our Friday morning yoga class.
The Michigan Runner Girl package starts at $833* per person for two people staying in the Tower.
Coming with a friend or three?
You are welcome to have more than one guest in your room. Three people staying in the Tower would pay $743 per person. Four people staying in the Tower together would pay $698 per person. We would not recommend more than four.
What if I would prefer the two-night option, arriving Friday instead of Thursday?
This is totally cool with us. You may arrive Friday afternoon for check-in (3 p.m.) and join us for our fabulous Friday night activities (MRG “pajama party” and dinner with Chef Ali Lopez) — this would be a great time to join us if a 2-night stay works better with your schedule. You’ll then enjoy all of the awesome activities happening the remainder of the weekend!
