Jamaican Chefs at Aerie Join us Saturday, October 29th as we celebrate our staff and friends from Jamaica. For one night only Aerie Restaurant will feature all the flavors of Jamaica in a custom menu created and prepared by three Jamaican members of our staff. The three chefs, Kimberly Peddie, Lisa Lawrence, and Rose Henry, will prepare authentic Jamaican dishes that are, as they put it, “seasoned to the bone,” a reflection of how Jamaican fare is robustly seasoned with fresh herbs and spices.

Farm to Frame Exhibition
October 10 - November 30
We are so excited to partner with Crooked Tree Arts Center to bring its 5th annual Farm to Frame photography exhibition to Aerie Restaurant and Lounge. The 5th annual Farm to Frame juried photography exhibition celebrates the environment and people that make Northern Michigan a farm-to-table culinary paradise. From the seed to the harvest, and from the market to the plate, Farm to Frame highlights all phases of local agriculture and food production. This year’s Farm to Frame exhibition will run October 10 through November 30.
Amateur and professional photographers alike are invited to submit their images online for this juried exhibition. Photos must have been taken September 2015 - September 2016, in Leelanau, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Antrim, Charlevoix, Emmet, Otsego, and Cheboygan counties. The submission deadline is now closed.
