WINTER GOLF

Traverse City’s golf courses may be closed, but that does not mean our golf game stops!  Grand Traverse Resort and Spa offers a variety of golf activities for guests, members, and the public during the winter season. The Golf Academy and Clubhouse will both be open for the operation of winter golf leagues, lessons, practice sessions, use of the TrackMan® simulators, and more.

TRACKMAN GOLF SIMULATORS

The Clubhouse hosts our pro shop, offers food and beverages, and features two Trackman® simulators for members, guests, and the public. The TrackMan®  Simulator is the leading golf launch monitor, accurately displaying the trajectory and landing position of each shot you take.

  Public + Resort Guest: $60, 9am - 12pm Mon-Thurs: $50
  Bear Member: $45, 9am - 12pm Mon-Thurs: $35

Winter Golf Leagues 

5-WEEK LEAGUE | November 10 - December 21, 2025 
 Grab your best golf partner and get ready to play in our 5-week fall golf league on our TrackMan simulators. Our social, indoor Clubhouse setting allows you to keep the competition alive in the off-season with friends, prizes and beverages. 
- Two consecutive 55-minute blocks for 18-hole, two person league play
- Cost includes TrackMan play and $50 per person for prizes 
Public & Guest rate: $250/player, Bear Member: $215/player

10-WEEK LEAGUE | January 5 - March 15, 2026 
- 55-minute blocks for 9-hole, two-person Match Play league play
- Cost includes TrackMan play and $50 per person for prizes 
Public & Guest Rate: $360/player, Bear Member: $235/player

Winter at the Golf Academy

Don't let your golf game hibernate this winter. Keep your golf game in shape at our Winter Golf Academy. Receive one-on-one private instruction from our PGA professionals, hit balls from our heated bays, and play on state-of-the-art technology with SuperSpeed golf training and SkyTrak simulators.

The Golf Academy is open Monday - Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm | $15 for a 30-minute practice session
