If your idea of a perfect vacation includes copious amounts of time spent in the water then you are in luck! At Grand Traverse Resort and Spa we feature multiple areas for you to splash your way to a good time.

  • Our Private Beach on Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay

  • Two indoor pools and one outdoor pool

  • One indoor family friendly hot tub and two outdoor adults only hot tubs

  • Indoor Water Playground  

  • Watersport rentals provided by Blue Sky Rentals (Closed for the season)

The Health Club, hot tubs, indoor pools, waterslide, and indoor water playground are currently open. 

Please note that the indoor pools and hot tubs are currently closed Monday-Friday from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.

Our Health Club features two pools, our indoor water playground, one indoor kids hot tub (kept at a lower temperature that is safer for children), and two outdoor adults only hot tubs. In the morning the larger of our two pools hosts open lap swimming with lane markers for our members, in the afternoon it transforms into our kids friendly activity area. Governors' Pool

Overlooking Spruce Run golf course, Governors' Pool is the perfect spot to catch some sun or enjoy a dip in the pool. A seasonal destination, Governors' Pool features a convenient Pool Bar and is located just steps away from the Resort. Governor's Pool is open Monday - Saturday 10am - 9pm and Sunday 10am - 8pm.
